Complaint about board member Petero details one instance of unprofessional conduct

This is an excerpt from a complaint filed in April of 2021, received from a public records request. The superintendent details unprofessional conduct by Area 6 board member Ana Petero and terminates regular meetings. This is just an excerpt from the complete complaint.

Notice, in the partial response, board member Petero excuses her conduct by calling it her “passion.” Others would call it her temper. (Look for video clips of this passion/temper on display during board meetings.)

One difficulty of telling the complete story of board member Petero’s misconduct is that so much of it happened behind the scenes, at school sites with school staff, and in private meetings with district employees. By submitting a public records request on board member Petero, I am able to tease out a few details of events that I had no knowledge of, but suspected. Here is one of them. I am working on obtaining more. If you are an area 6 voter (Cordelia Villages and newer Green Valley), please consider voting for anyone but Ana Petero.
